Vice PresidentJP West, IncTraci is a Vice-President at JP West, Inc where she heads the firm’s personal and small commercial lines operation. Her insurance career began in 1984, and her 30+ years of experience include leadership roles with several national carriers. Her expertise is in personal lines underwriting and Agile project management.
A committed industry leader, Traci is the 2023 President-Elect of the Institutes’ CPCU Society’s global leadership council, the first African-American woman to serve in that role. She is also a past President of the Rhode Island Chapter CPCU Society. In addition to her designations from The Institutes, Traci holds designation as a Transportation Risk Insurance Professional and is an Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner. She is also a Leadership Rhode Island-certified Clifton Strengths coach and a sought-after speaker and facilitator. Her professional affiliations also include membership in the Society for Insurance Trainers & Educators (SITE) and the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) – Boston chapter where she serves as a board member. Traci also serves on the board of New England Basecamp, a non-profit organization that provides support and professional development to Educators and is a mentor in the Rhode Island Black Business Association’s LEAP program. Traci studied at Rutgers University in Newark, NJ and Franklin University in Columbus, OH, and is a proud graduate and class spokesperson of the Leadership Rhode Island 2021 Rho II class. She currently resides in Pawtucket, RI. |
