Executive DirectorStratton FoundationI grew up in Hershey, PA. I attended Penn State University in 1985-1987, married a PSU classmate in 1988, obtained a B.S. degree in Health Administration from Mercy College in 1993, graduating summa cum laude. My first job was with an opinion-research firm in Greenwich Connecticut, The Taylor Group, from 1993-2000 contributing to design, management and qualitative/quantitative analysis research studies for major clients like Disney, National Geographic, and NBC, to name a few.
The job created an opportunity for travel across the U.S. and laid the foundation for my experience in business, marketing, and writing. In 2001, I joined Tidewatch Partners, expanding my industry knowledge to include internet and telecommunications. In 2000 my family moved to Vermont where I worked remotely for the editing department of McKinsey Global & Company and a small nonprofit doing light office work and accounting. In 2011, I was recognized for my leadership qualities, communication skills, and academic success, rising to Executive Director. The Stratton Community Foundation has grown to be a $1million nonprofit, helping low-income children across the rural areas of southern Vermont and families in crisis. As an advocate for change, I lead in the creation of programs that address hunger, mental health, oral health basic necessities and education, building relationships with schools and national partners. This position requires community outreach, grant writing, corporate sponsorships, marketing and social media, event planning and execution. I’ve been married to Matthew Mosher for 35 years, and we have two daughters, Claudia and Josi, who both live in Colorado. In my free time, I love to workout on the Peloton and hike the Green Mountains with my beloved dogs. |
