Senior Consultant, Co-lead of evaluation and researchJSI Research and Training InstituteTamara Vehige Calise, DrPH, M.Ed. is the Co-Director of Evaluation and Research and Senior Consultant at John Snow Inc. (JSI) with over 25 years of experience at the local, state, and federal government levels, as well as in academia. Dr. Calise has worked across the public health spectrum from healthy communities to mental and behavioral health, substance use, food insecurity, and teen pregnancy prevention among others.
Her knowledge of these multifaceted health topics and high regard to partnerships has enabled her to lead and collaborate on diverse initiatives, as well as to train others in doing this important work. She has been a leader in the ever-evolving field of evaluation and has over a decade of experience teaching graduate-level evaluation courses at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Boston University School of Public Health. |
