Senior Customer Experience Content SpecialistGardynShannon has always been a person who asks questions. At UVM, she immersed herself in questions about our local and global food systems while simultaneously studying the people who drive and change them. She earned her BA in Anthropology in three years and became the first graduate of the accelerated professional track of UVM’s MS in Food Systems the following year.
Shannon continually seeks to align her professional work with her passions. Her experience includes serving as a Sustainable Agriculture Specialist Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal, program support and communications for gender equity and water/sanitation non-profits, and even a non-partisan role for one session of the Vermont legislature. Finally returning to her dual loves of food systems and writing, she now manages content for a hydroponic gardening start-up. Throughout her career, Shannon has always fought for greater workplace transparency and open communication to grow teams built on mutual trust, inclusion, and belonging. |
