Director of Cyber SecurityACTPam McLeod is the Director of Cybersecurity for ACT Education Corp., with a proven track record in securing data and systems while fostering innovation. Pam holds a wealth of experience in Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, and IT Leadership/Infrastructure, and is known for her ability to lead organizational change with a focus on modern work and business process improvement. As a Granite State Leadership Academy Fellow and former School Board Chair, she is recognized for her strategic leadership and commitment to education.
Pam’s career spans roles as a public-sector technology executive and cybersecurity leader in education, where she balanced risk management with innovation. She co-founded the NH Student Privacy Alliance, significantly reducing risk for 82% of New Hampshire’s public school students. She holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wyoming, a MS in Engineering from Purdue University, and a CAGS in Educational Leadership from SNHU, with a background in geomatics and ocean mapping research. She applies her technical skills to address relevant issues, and is a visionary leader who is passionate about collaboration and creating a positive workplace culture. Pam's dedication to service is evident in her contributions to her local school board and statewide professional organizations. Pam was raised on a Wyoming llama ranch and currently lives on a small hobby farm in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Her love for rural living has been reflected in her community-oriented career choices; more recently, she is thrilled to be working remotely for an international company. Pam’s hobbies include organic gardening, horses, kayaking, and swimming. She has two emerging adult sons who are both in college – one pursuing a career in the health sciences and the other pursuing a trade. |
