Family physician

Family Health Center of Worcester/ UMass Chan Medical School

Melanie Gnazzo, MD is a family physician at a large, urban federally qualified health center.  She has been an assistant professor with the UMassChan School of Medicine in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health for the past 10 years, mentoring and teaching medical students and Family Medicine Residents. 

​Through this work she seeks to improve primary care for the medically underserved and socially vulnerable populations.  As part of her work in addressing food insecurity, she is an active board member of the Community Harvest Project, a non profit farm donating 100% of its produce to hunger relief.
