Marti Hooper, ASA MAAA (Associate, Society of Actuaries and Member, American Academy of Actuaries) is the Life & Health Actuary for the Maine Bureau of Insurance.  Employed at the Maine Bureau of Insurance since 1992. Prior to the Bureau, she worked at Dead River Company in employee benefits and  obtained her CEBS (certified employee benefit specialist) designation. After college she worked at Hewitt Associates, CT office in pension consulting. Marti has a BS degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. She enjoys all things outdoors including traveling, skiing and gardening.
