President & Chief Executive Officer

North Shore Community Health

Margaret A. Brennan, MPH, has been leading North Shore Community Health for almost 12 years.  She brings twenty-plus years of experience and a deep and abiding passion and commitment to community health centers.  Maggie previously served as the first Chief Operating Officer of the Community Health Care Association of New York State (CHCANYS). In addition, she was Director of Operations at Health Watch, a national minority health organization, and held other leadership positions at NYC-based health nonprofits.

She is a graduate of the 2009 UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Health Care Executive Program, has a Master’s in Public Health from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
