Charles River

Lisa Sottolano is the Senior Director of Regulatory Compliance at Charles River, Massachusetts in Shrewsbury. Within Charles River, Ms. Sottolano works in nonclinical research for the development and testing of pharmaceutical and biotech drug products. In her position, Ms. Sottolano is responsible for Quality Assurance operations at the site and has QA oversight responsibilities for six other sites in the US and Canada.

Ms. Sottolano received a BA in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix; she has over 30 years of experience in QA. Ms. Sottolano is an active member of the Society of Quality Assurance (SQA); she has served on Program Committee for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Chapter of SQA (MARSQA) and as a Director & President for Pacific Regional Chapter of SQA (PRCSQA).

​She is currently serving as a Director for the New England Regional Chapter of SQA (NERCSQA) and on the SQA Annual Meeting Program Committee. Ms. Sottolano is a registered quality assurance professional (RQAP-GLP).
