Mother/Leader/Bills Fan Lisa Medland began her human resources career in the early 90’s, working for TBS in Atlanta. She quickly made her mark in the HR field in strategy planning, operations, and talent management, and took her first director role in the late 90’s. After moving to Florida in the early 2000’s, Lisa ran consulting and recruiting companies, and for the next 15 years, Lisa continued to hone her craft, teaching & coaching, and focusing on organizational culture growth. In 2019, Lisa left the sunshine state to come to the winter wonderland that is Vermont, where she took over the Director of Human Resources role for a rapidly growing, family-owned business based outside of Burlington. As the Director of Human Resources for Spare Time Entertainment, Lisa oversees almost 2000 employees in 18 locations across 10 states, guiding the evolution of Spare Time in HR operations during this time of unparalleled growth. As a mother to three teenagers, Lisa is no stranger to the patience required to work in the HR world, and as a long time Bills fan, she can handle even the biggest disappointments and challenges in stride, and inspires all those around her in her calming presence, her passion for a positive and equitable culture, and her selfless leadership. |
