Sr. Supply Chain Project ManagerThe University of Vermont Health NetworkI was born in Burlington and grew up in Essex Junction, Vermont. I am the first in my family to earn a college degree and also the first to become an attorney. I had the opportunity to attend the former Trinity College of Vermont, a women’s college that was located in Burlington, where I received with honors a B.S. in Environmental Science.
I began my career as a Laboratory Technician at a small environmental testing firm and that experience opened the door for me to support The University of Vermont Health Network Supply Chain Services as a Buyer supporting the laboratory. Over the years I earned several promotions and became a healthcare supply chain professional. As a Contract Specialist, I learned the ins and outs of contract writing and negotiating, with the goal of mitigating risk to the organization and ensuring the costs aligned with budget. It is during this time I successfully participated in Vermont's Law Office Study program, and in 2018 had the opportunity to sit for the Universal Bar Exam, passing on the first attempt. I am now a Licensed Attorney and Sr. Project Manager for The University of Vermont Health Network supporting the Laboratory and Pharmacy's business operations and contracting needs as a supply chain expert. Additionally, my best friends and I own and operate a small business teaching painting classes at local eateries, breweries and at private events. I am a single mother to two vibrant teenagers who keep me on my toes. In my free time I can be found walking my dog, playing in my garden and reading salacious novels. |
