Kassandra has led workforce development initiatives and collaborative partnerships with diverse stakeholders and federal, state, and local governmental agencies such as the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL),
including USDOL programs funded through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA); Illinois Department of Labor (ILDOL); the Illinois and DC Department of Human Services (DHS); Jobs for the Future (JFF); Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM); American Association of Community Colleges (AACC); Illinois Community College Board (ICCB); Lumina Foundation; and CareerSource Florida. Kassandra has provided guidance, technical assistance, tools, and support to diverse shareholders such as workforce boards, employers, community colleges, industry councils, higher education institutions, community and faith-based organizations, and public agencies. Kassandra is the renowned Chicago Career Coach and Senior Principal Consultant for Covenant Career Consulting, a premier workforce, career, and education solutions firm that provides connoisseur services to a broad range of U.S. and international clientele. Kassandra’s expertise including her resume writing skills have earned accolades from top job search websites, and her career workshops have helped her build a reputation as an expert in the field. Her professional experience also encompasses counseling, legal advocacy, and professorship at several institutions including Aurora University and DeVry University. Kassandra is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Psychology & Theology, and holds a Master of Science in Sociology and Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from Iowa State University. She is a Certified Professional Life Coach, Career Specialist, and the author of four books including The 10 Commandments of Career Success: How to Have the Career You Really Desire. |
