Janell is an experienced support worker in the field of Developmental Disabilities in Human Services. She had held various positions in the field including Direct Support, Case Management, and Residential Group Home Management. Seeking to expand the range of therapeutic services she provides, Janell is currently completing pre-requisite coursework before starting her Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.

​Janell is motivated to expand the range of support services made available to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by conducting empirical research on contemporary service gaps and systemic barriers.
