Director of Training and Development

Ellen Ryder Griffin currently serves as Director of Training & Development at RiverWoods, a leading provider of senior living communities in New England.

After spending over 10 years in higher education leadership roles, Ellen's passion for teaching ultimately drew her to the L&D field, with positions at MIT and Ropes & Gray. She ultimately found the perfect role at RiverWoods, which is close to her home in Epping, New Hampshire. She lives with her husband and their German Shepherd, Stella.

Ellen earned a Master of Education degree in Human Development at Northeastern University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She loves photography, travel, art and spending time with family.
