Chief Operations OfficerCenter for EcoTechnologyChristina Bicksler is currently the Chief Operations Officer at the Center for EcoTechnology, a climate change non-profit that works in the built environment, delivering services that foster commercial waste reduction and recycling, wasted food prevention and diversion, and building electrification and energy efficiency. She translates functional and operational requirements into meaningful solutions that help drive teams toward their goals, and communicates and confirms strategies, processes and decisions across the organization to support service delivery and accelerate mission impact. Her approach includes leveraging technology to streamline operational processes, foster knowledge sharing and promote collaboration between self-organizing cross-discipline teams.
Christina has been in the environmental consulting industry for over 25 years, leading cross-functional teams and multi-department operations to deliver science, engineering, and technology solutions for a variety of clients in the United States and Australia, including energy, oil and gas, mining, commercial, education, defense, and municipal, state and federal governments. She also spent 5 years in software development, developing online adaptive diagnostic and personalized mathematics instruction software. Christina has a B.S. in Geology from James Madison University and studied Geographic Information Systems at the University of Denver and leadership development at the University of New South Wales, Australia School of Business. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is a licensed Professional Geologist (PG). |
