Vice President

United Electric Controls

I am a Vice President of United Electric Controls, a manufacturer of industrial safety products in Watertown, MA.  I have almost 40 years in management within this male dominated industry and I am a member of an all male executive team.  During my career, I raised two children, who are both successful adults, while also being the primary caregiver to an elderly parent.

This experience provides me a unique perspective on today's work-life balance issues, how to overcome gender bias and perceptions with behavior and respect, as well as how to break through the barriers that still exist among men and women regarding leadership, promotions, and recognition for the value you bring to an organization.
