Director, Communications and Strategy

Vermont Electric Power Company (VELCO)

Betsy Bloomer is the Director of Communications and Strategy at VELCO. After growing up in the Northeast Kingdom, Betsy spent more than a decade in Washington DC advocating for institutions of higher education, major medical systems, and a host of nonprofit organizations. Upon returning to Vermont, she was recruited to serve in the Irene Recovery Office before joining Vermont’s electric utility industry.
