Founder and CEO, Caregiving Pathways Beth Rooney Suereth cared for her father through five years of dementia, diabetes, and cancer. As a result of that experience, she founded Caregiving Pathways to teach family caregivers how to manage caregiving, the hospital stay, and the end of life. She is a Certified Caregiving Consultant™, Educator, and Facilitator and is an end-of-life doula. Beth’s clients include CVS Health, the AARP Public Policy Institute, AARP New York, and The Conversation Project, an initiative of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. She also works directly with caregivers at adult family care provider Seniorlink/Caregiver Homes. In addition, Beth coaches individual family caregiver clients and teaches financial planners how to create practical end-of-life plans for their clients. Previously, Beth served as the national director of marketing at infusion therapy provider BioScrip and held several roles at prescription benefit manager Express Scripts. She also held instructional roles at The Caregiving Years Training Academy. In addition, she served as a volunteer family caregiver coach at Overlook Medical Center in New Jersey. Beth earned a Health Policy and the Affordable Care Act certificate from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Boston University. In 2020, Caregiving Pathways won a Gold Stevie® Award for Women in Business, Most Innovative Company of the Year, 10 or Less Employees. Beth won a Bronze Stevie® Award for Women in Business, Most Innovative Woman of the Year, Business Services.
